Opened in 2004 by Michael Conner, lead guitarist of 'Any Given Sin', our award winning shop offers experienced, passionate artists and piercers. You can always expect a friendly and sterile experience every time you come in to Blue Scarab Tattoos. Our tattoo artists specialize in a wide variety of tattoo styles so there's a great fit for everyone! Our knowledgeable piercers will walk you through each step of the way as they give you your next stunning piercing with high quality jewelry. We even offer laser tattoo removal! All tattoo designs are fully custom for you so let your imagination run wild!

- Walk-ins only for piercings, call ahead for daily piercing hours!

- Walk-ins are welcome for tattoos but appointments are

recommended.

day we are open. All appointments require a $50 deposit

per hour you book which goes towards the cost of your tattoo.

BOBBY SYLVESTRE

My name is Bobby Sylvestre. Growing up in the southern Maryland area, I've always had a great interest and ability in art. I've been tattooing professionally since May of 1996. I went through my apprenticeship under Jason Auth. The essential fundamentals of quality tattooing that was instilled in me then still holds true today. Every tattoo artist that I have worked with or around has been influential in one way or another throughout my career. As an artist I try to be as versatile as I can; photo-realism, traditional, black & grey, color, portraits, custom ... whatever!.., If it is feasible, I'd be honored to do it! My passion for tattooing and its history is unrelenting. Growing and getting even better at what I do is what I strive for.

I've worked here at Blue Scarab Tattoos since its opening in 2004. It's truly been a blessing. The relationships built, my clients that trust in me to do their work, experiences working at tattoo conventions, all provide an immeasurable amount of gratitude every day -THANK YOU ALL! JASON BAXTROM.

I started my career tattooing in 2006 and have been with Blue Scarab since June 2010. I like the day of the dead sugar skulls, doing black/ grey, and color tattoos but my talent is not limited! I always give 110% of myself in whatever tattoo I am doing and it shows in my work. Together we can come up with a tattoo that is as unique as the person that will be wearing it. In my free time i like to keep my creative juices flowing by airbrushing, weather it be on canvas or on motorcycles and helmets. I am mostly a self taught airbrush artist and have been since 2011. I am lucky to wake up every day and help people express themselves in a creative way- something I absolutely love! I hope I get the chance to do your next tattoo and give you a piece of artwork that will last a lifetime!
